Reverser Stand nears completion

The Reverser Stand sits partly in the cab and partly on the right side running plate. It houses the screw reverser.
Final fabrication is nearly complete.
Coupling Rods fitted
Published 13 December 2014 | a further advance in the construction took place this week with the fitting of the locomotive’s coupling rods. It does make the chassis look more complete.

Lifting Links Refurbished
Published 3 January 2014 | The following Photos by Bill Hall are of the lifting links. These are the parts of the valve gear used to move the die block when the reach rod from the reverser is moved by the driver. This controls forward and backward movement of the loco plus the cut-off.
