So far the Gala has been on a bi-annual basis, but a decision was reached at the AGM to plan for the next Gala in 2012, at the earliest, and we would want to use the completed Corwen extension. Each Gala takes an enormous amount of work and planning, not just for the 6880 team, but for the whole of the Llangollan Railway. The team can't lose focus on our main aim, building 6880. This year will see the results of the last Gala ploughed back into progressing Betton Grange, and as soon as there is any news about a third episode of Steel, Steam and Stars we will publish it here. There maybe some input and involvement from the 6880 team in the regular Llangollen Galas in the meantime , particually for 175th GWR anniversary. Again any news will be released here. Seriously, the black image was chosen back at the beginning of the project, partly to differentiate us from the then glut of GW/BR green railway and locomotive websites and has been used for all our publicity material ever since. We have moved on a little, the majority of the text is now on a white background instead of the white on black originally used, but if we have enough people who hate things as they are we'd always consider changing things!
