Steel, Steam and Stars Gala.
Coverage starts 5 days before the gala, with preparations in Llangollen, the arrival of the locomotives and autocoach, coal deliveries, moving locomotives into position around the shed and the laying out of Betton Grange's frames, cab and other items.The gala was itself was filmed over all three days with coverage at Llangollen, Berwyn, Deeside Halt, Glyndyfrdwy, Carrog and other places in between. Then was also the Beer Festival, and the live steam railways at Llangollen and Carrog. The unveiling of the painting by Malcolm Root of Betton Grange is covered, as is the presentation of the first of the new nameplates made by Trevor Tremblin and sponsored by John Buxton. Also featured is a footplate ride on Foxcote Manor the length of the railway from Llangollen to Carrog. Quentin McGuiness gave an interview before the gala about the aims of the event, and a second interview to explain how it had all gone. An additional 25 minutes of all steam action has been added to make a total of 110 minutes of video included on the DVD.
Belhurst productions will make a contribution to the 6880 Betton Grange Society for each copy sold.
